Shipping Information - Australian orders

SHIPPING COST

All items are shipped by Australia Post and all orders have tracking included.

 

Standard Post

FLAT RATE for Standard Shipping is $10 for orders up to $99.99

FREE Standard Shipping applies to Australian orders of $100 or more

 

Express Post

FLAT RATE for Express Shipping for all orders is $15

All Express orders have tracking included

Australia Post is not currently guaranteeing next-day delivery, but they are still giving priority to Express parcels, so your order will arrive in the shortest possible time.

*please note if you choose the Express Post option, you still need to allow at least 2 full business days for me to make your item before I can send it.

 

SHIPPING TIMES

Most of the items in the Little Deer Studio store are made to order, so please allow time for me to make your items prior to shipping. Once payment is received, I usually ship items within 3-5 business days. If for some reason, your order will take longer than this, I will contact you immediately.

Please understand that once your package has been lodged with Australia Post, I have no control over the time it takes for delivery.

*** Due to border restrictions and quarantine issues associated with Covid-19, there are currently delays with Australia Post deliveries, and some orders, especially to Victoria, are taking a little longer than usual.

Most Australian customers should receive their orders within 2 weeks of dispatch.

I do not offer refunds if a parcel is simply delayed in transit.

If a parcel genuinely goes missing, or is lost, then I will refund your order.

I do not consider a parcel "missing" unless 30 days have passed since dispatch for Australian orders, and will not issue a refund any sooner than this.

Please allow plenty of time if you are purchasing for a special occasion.

  

PACKAGING

I try to minimise the amount of packaging I use, but items will be packed carefully to avoid damage during transit.

Items are generally wrapped in a recycled paper bag tied with natural hemp twine, before being placed in a padded mail bag (made from paper, not plastic bubble wrap). Larger orders may be packed in rigid mailing boxes.

I use recycled and/or biodegradable packaging wherever possible.
